One phenomenon in the U.S is notion that children should never lose. So, in competitions everyone gets a trophy. Kids grow up never learning how to lose-but losing is a part of life that has to be dealt with. When they hit adulthood and the real world these kids are paralyzed and bitter. Why can't I just win all the time?
